Individual Sessions
At Eternal Purpose Recovery Center, clients meet with clinicians weekly for a one-on-one session. The primary goal of these individual sessions is to increase the understanding of clients’ thoughts and behavior patterns to increase his/her daily function and well-being. In addition, clients and clinical staff explore the symptoms of drug addiction, the related areas of impaired functioning, and the content and structure of clients’ ongoing treatment plans. Furthermore, clients will be able to meet with the clinical staff to discuss how to effectively manage stress and interpersonal difficulties and how to set and achieve personal and professional aspirations.
Family Sessions
Family therapy is a form of treatment that is designed to improve relationships and resolve family conflict and dysfunction. It can be used to help a family through a difficult period, a major transition, or mental or behavioral health problems in family members. Addiction is a family disease. The goal of family therapy is to address the conflicts of the family as a unit, including conflicts each family member may have. These issues may be emotional, mental, behavioral, financial, or marital. We focus on educating loved ones about the origins and effects of addiction, improving family communication, setting healthy boundaries, improving the family’s ability to handle difficult family situations, and, overall, creating a better-functioning home environment.
Group Sessions
Group therapy sessions offer clients the opportunity to learn or relearn the social skills they need to cope with everyday life instead of resorting to substance abuse. Clients will learn by observing others, being coached by others, and practicing skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Eternal Purpose Recovery Center offers various evidence-based therapeutic modalities. During clients’ stay with us, they will be presented with an array of clinical modalities (Group modalities and descriptions listed below.).
